Therapist / Clinical Supervisor

Status: Full-time (.5 Therapist / .5 Clinical Supervisor)
Salary: $33.55–$37.50 per hour, depending on experience (BOE)

Marquette County is seeking a compassionate and experienced Therapist / Clinical Supervisor to join our Human Services team. This unique role combines direct clinical care with leadership responsibilities, providing clinical supervision to staff while maintaining a small caseload of clients with mental health and/or substance use needs.
This position plays a vital role in ensuring quality client care, supporting professional development of staff, and strengthening behavioral health services within our community.
Position Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide clinical supervision through individual and group sessions, chart audits, and consultation
- Support staff development in diagnostic skills, treatment planning, and clinical practice
- Collaborate with the Clinical Services Manager to ensure compliance with state, federal, and program requirements
- Conduct client intake, assessment, and evaluations
- Provide individual, family, and group counseling
- Develop, implement, and monitor treatment plans
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams, case planning, and community outreach
- Approve and review clinical documentation in accordance with applicable statutes and standards
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or related field
- Wisconsin licensure as a Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Independent Clinical Social Worker (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3,000 hours of supervised clinical experience
- At least 3 years of related experience, preferably in a public agency
- Eligibility for certification as a Wisconsin Medical Assistance provider
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license and access to insured vehicle
- Ability to pass background checks
