Case Manager/Social Worker -Child Protective Services Worker
This position works within Child Protective Services providing voluntary and court ordered services to families. A child welfare professional will focus on safety, permanence, and well-being for children and their families served under Wisconsin Statute Chapters 48 and 938 and the standard case practice set forth by the Department of Children and Family Services. The primary role of a child welfare professional is to engage families in a positive working relationships and implement safety planning. This position is responsible for the following types of services: safety assessments, case planning, permanency planning and preparing court reports and testimony. Child welfare professional will build report and provide motivation for change through engagement with parents, children, foster parents, and others involved with the family.
Qualifications: Minimum of actively working to achieve a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a Human Services related field. Preferred Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a Human Services or education related field and credentialed as a Certified Social Worker (CSW, CAPSW, CISW, or LCSW) in the State of Wisconsin
