Family Protection & Engagement Case Manager

This job involves assessing, treating, and rehabilitating adult and juvenile clients, as well as providing case management, crisis intervention, and community resource development. You will work with clients dealing with mental illness, substance abuse, developmental disabilities, elderly issues, and adjustment problems. You will also provide support and education to significant others and family members of clients. The clinical responsibilities include conducting intake and emergency detention assessments, attending court appearances, managing commitments, settlement agreements and monitoring them, guardianships, protective placements, and referring clients to other appropriate services. You will share on-call crisis coverage on a staff rotation schedule and participate in the crisis mobile team. Your caseload and assignments will be determined by your immediate Supervisor.
